STAGE 2

For STAGE 2 of this project, I continued to look into textured posters. For this shoot I took pictures on holiday in Pakistan, zooming in on texture. This time I wanted to experiment with the images in colour, therefore I looked into to the photographer Mimmo Rotella to further inspire my work.

DEVELOPMENT 1

P R O C E S S
For Development 1, I decided to create my developments by hand. I gathered Newspapers with Urdu text, I layered pieces of the newspaper upon black card and then scraped into it to add further texture and depth to the background. ( Whilst also mimicking the textures on the walls within the images). This emphasised and highlighted the details within the original photographs.

FINAL DEVELOPMENTS

P R O C E S S
For my Final Developments, I continued to experiment with the layering technique, however this time I did it in Adobe Photoshop using 2 images from Development 1. Once I had layered two images from development 1,  I played around with the blending options till I formed a composition that emphasised the textures. I like how these blending options emphasised the typography and formed interesting  vibrant eccentric compositions.
