STAGE 3
For STAGE 3, I began to look at graffiti - this initially led me to Look into the Photographer Martha Cooper. For this shoot I began by taking photos around Manchester. This time I wanted to continue to experiment with layering to see what textures could be formed.

P R O C E S S
For Development 1, I decided to Manipulate some of my original selections in Adobe Photoshop, with the textured details of Pakistani garments. To highlight and emphasise the details within the garments, I scrunched and ruched them before photographing/scanning them.

STEP 1
Gathering, Materials : cardboard, craft knife, glue-stick and double-sided sticky tape. Along with images from Development 1 - printed on paper and acetate.
STEP 2
I then began by carving and scraping into the cardboard - this will create further depth and texture for my pictures.
STEP 3
I then began by cutting both the paper and acetate pictures into strips, before arranging an order.
STEP 4
Once my order was arranged, I slightly layered the paper over the acetate. This technique allowed for unique texture to be formed.
STEP 5
This techniques allowed me to form a unique composition - creating somewhat of a shutter effect (mimicking a shutter surface which graffiti is often sprayed upon). The mixture of paper and acetate materials upon the worn out cardboard forms a unique array of c colours.
